Description: This piece was created to represent different life stages through natural growth. The roses go from childhood to adolescence to adulthood. And the different amounts of yellow in the backgrounds of the roses are meant to represent the increasing amount of stress and thoughts that come with getting older. This is an embroidery piece on canvas paper with gouache in the background.
