These unrestricted scholarships support students’ ongoing pursuit of creativity, whether it be in purchasing supplies, taking classes, or other methods. Students do not need to be nominated or apply. Winners are selected by representatives from sponsoring organizations, CPS, and the Design Museum.


School of the Art Institute of Chicago – Admission Scholarships

In partnership with the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC), the CPS All-City Senior Portfolio Exhibition gives high school seniors the opportunity to exhibit their artwork and to gain exposure among selected admissions representatives of various colleges and universities. Scholarship opportunities are available to those students participating in the 2024 CPS All-City Senior Portfolio Exhibition who are also admitted to SAIC for the fall 2024 academic year.


Facility Scholarship

Facility Scholarships are awarded to Elementary and High School students who demonstrate excellence in the All-City Visual Arts Exhibition.

Design Museum of Chicago Scholarship

5% of the cost of every Design Museum Membership supports this scholarship, which is awarded to 1 Elementary and 1 High School student who demonstrate exceptional originality and voice in their submission to the All-City Visual Arts Exhibition.

50,000feet Scholarships are awarded to students demonstrating excellence in the in the Advanced Arts Program.

Made in honor of 50,000feet’s staff and clients, the scholarship supports students and their families with financial resources to pursue their passion for the arts. Investing in public art education allows us to promote creativity and appreciation of the arts with more students at critical points in their lives and encourage essential skills in communication, problem-solving, emotional intelligence and self expression.
