Artist Statement: My work focuses on objects that bring “home” to me. People try to remember their home by objects brought from those places. I left Ecuador which is my home at an earl age, so for my pieces I’m including objects that have been passed down from family members and objects that have been bought in Ecuador for family members so that they don’t forget their home.
