Artist Statement: This project is inspired by the mexican holiday “dia de los muertos” The mask in my project symbolises The celebration to honor the dead and acknowledge the happiness they brought to other during their life. the skeletons symbolizes people being rebirth into a new life. The flowers represents that the soul of the departed has received restored innocence after death.
