Artist Statement: After creating this I flipped the canvas upside down because I thought it looked better. On the canvas it says A Poetic Rockstar is “an artist thats aware and alive.” Awareness means having a deep sense of self—knowing who you are, embracing self-awareness, and living in the present moment. It’s about being intellectually curious, open to wonder, and always eager to explore and learn. Its the poetic side, slowing down, observing, and truly appreciating the here and now. To be alive, in this sense, is to embody the spirit of a rockstar—freely expressing yourself, inspiring others, and living life on your own terms. You create your own values, your own standards, and your own sense of family. Recognizing that you are the creator of your own reality, you begin to craft the life you desire.
