Artist Statement:
This piece was very dark and is meant to depict the negatives of the art of spying and stalking. The darkness and the mysterious effect of the darkness on the image impacts the emotions the viewer can feel. The warmth and vintage feeling of the image also contrasts with the darkness and complexity in the piece, and adds to the overall tone and “film noir” aspect I was aiming for.
