Teacher Name: Sharon Finley
Grade: 12

Materials: Alcohol markers and pencils on paper
Dimensions: 11.28” x 9.2”
Description: In this painting, bold and vibrant colors were used, with the idea of completely capturing the viewer’s attention. This piece represents my perspective having social anxiety. It shows how I feel like everyone’s eyes are on me, which makes me feel like I’m a tiny being

Artist Statement: My pieces are a way to show the world how I feel having social anxiety. I want to speak through my art, express to people who go through the same thing as me that they are not alone. For my pieces I used pencils, colored pencils and alcohol markers, they are very easy materials to handle and if used well they can have a unique effect on people.
