Artist Statement: I love using watercolor, colored papers, and crayons to make art that
moves and pops off the page. It’s so much fun to see what I can
create! My self-portrait with a hand that moves was super exciting to
make – I wanted to make people smile and feel happy when they see it.
In another piece, I made a garbage robot throwing trash everywhere and
a cleaning robot picking it up. I want to show that we all need to
take care of our own messes. I hope my art makes people think and want
to help make the world a better place.
