Description: The calm and peaceful side of this neighborhood holds family roots and culture within the bricked walls. I took inspiration from my last artwork to contrast the difference of life in Mexico with life in the US. There is a clear message I want to convey is never forgetting where you came from which includes pride as well as the remembrance of where you came from. Patterns that express culture and the roots in which they were born. These patterns relate to the Mexican culture my family has.
