Description: The oxidized souls in the 3D clay figure allude to the Statue of Liberty to symbolize agony when clinging to the top of our capitalistic society. Its altered shape follows amalgamation, a process of molding things together. Sculpting tools were used to create creases and blemishes on the faces. Some heads extend farther than others, and the eyes and mouths are made with a darker shade to emphasize how dreadful these souls feel for being trapped in their current state.
