Artist Statement: I created a cameo landscape using 2 different types of metal. For the bottom layer, I used copper and added a black patina. I also added texture to the metal to show through the cutouts of the second layer. For that layer I used brass and I high-polished it. I used copper for the bear and added a red patina. I completed the piece by riveting all three pieces together with some brass wire.
