Description: This artwork shows the side profile of my mother which has a lot of shadows to emphasize her skin and the wrinkles in order to show her aging. Also her clothing represents her culture which is something she typically wears when she is in Mexico since it was from her mom and they have a really close connection. This artwork is to emphasize her role as a mother such as observing that she is emotionless because she is focusing something outside the frame.
