Description: I made this painting because it is a way of representing my culture especially with a pyramid which is one the most beautiful landmarks to see in Mexico and the quetzalcoatl who was responsible for life and death. I also painted it to show recognition of something beautiful and also adding nature which was a huge part in there culture and beliefs . I used acrylic for the paint obviously and sand to give it a rough and rocky touch . I used a variety of different brushes and palette knife .this painting means a lot to me because it is a piece that represents a part of me and while I was doing it my teacher taught me and showed me that my passion for art was still there and it showed me a different type of level of art that I was in
