Description: The purpose of this artwork is to show one of the religious traditions that are practiced in Mexico. The practice of setting up a nacimiento during December was taught to me by my extended family who are living in Mexico and me and my family brought this practice back to the United States in order to keep this tradition ongoing. I intend to show how not knowing something is acceptable and how educating oneself about a practice can lead to self-exploration.
