Artist Statement: This is a digital painting I made for my Graphic Arts class. It is a painting of a picture I took on vacation in Wisconsin. I took it because we were all outside and saw a beautiful rainbow after the rain stopped. So I took a picture. It’s meaningful to me because I go there every summer, I was with family, and it’s a rainbow and I’m queer so there is that connection to me as well. I enjoyed using many different brush types and colors to make it.
