Artist Statement: When I was creating this drawing I wanted to make it look a little realistic in my own way and show it from a certain point of view, so I did it from the top. I layered different colors on top of one another so it looks like they are in the water. This piece of art kind of represents calmness, I feel like every time I see this I think of a small pond filled with clear water and I am just able to see the koi fish swimming around peacefully.
