Artist Statement: The title of my piece is “In My Heart,” and I created this Cubist portrait to reflect on who I am and what makes me unique. I used multiple perspectives and collage techniques to integrate different features and elements that represent myself. I emphasized the color red because it represents empathy and passion, which are qualities that I value.
