Artist Statement: These artworks symbolize my traumatic experiences and heart wrenching thoughts and emotions that were captured upon various moments. It was exemplified through digital enhancement and aimed to speak on the social and political issues of the mind. My inspiration for making it was that it became centralized on who I was in that moment and what I had been through. It required much reflection through my artistic process and at times a second opinion on if it was good enough. The idea of self worth can be found in a couple of my artwork, whether it is from myself or others. These artworks signify the mind in it’s purest human form and the many tragedies that come with a conscience of life.
