Artist Statement: When I did the stars it felt like a reward. My least favorite was the background, but it worked out eventually. Since I really like art and music, I decided I would paint the Sydney Opera House. I made this by blending acrylic paint and shading. I’m surprised how hard it was and how it turned out. I did the background first. Then I did the foreground (aka the building). Finally, I added the water and clouds, and I finished with the stars.
