Artist Statement: My work reflects the state of existence I am in, being liminal to my life. I create work that is influenced by the past, present, and future, and the experiences that I went through at different stages of my life. My past influences the style and subject of my work, but the creation of these pieces was in the present. I cannot let go of the troubling events that have happened, but memorializing the beauty and wonder of the past allows me to see it for what it is- a miracle.
