Artist Statement: The title of this piece is “Growth,” a series of self portraits to represent changes over the recent years. The drawing contains versions of myself over the recent years, Beatles albums at the bottom as I feel they’ll always be a part of me, and eyes growing in number as I get older. I want the audience to be able to relate to how things are always changing, even though there will always be parts of us that stay the same.
