Artist Statement: I had shot this photo in the back of my porch. They were about to rebuild the whole porch so I wanted to take photos of it to see how the wood had changed over time. The wood that I took the picture had a much of detail coming up, and it caught my attention. I figured that if it caught mine, then it would catch other people’s.
