Artist Statement: I created this artwork to show the power of fashion and jewelry. It’s not just a piece of jewelry or a random outfit. It represents the beauty and art within yourself or another person. It speaks to you and you can see the power of it. You can tell a lot from a person by their outfit and accessories. It’s aesthetically pleasing. I made this by using a dark room. I set up a black backdrop, set my photographers in a stool, adjusted my camera on low shutter speed. I was inspired to make this because nowadays people focus on the small things in photos. Mines was jewelry. To obtain this artwork I had to ask multiple people of all different kind on fashion worlds to take a photo and explain why. I took multiple photos of them from different angles of their outfit, and finally I put them into a collage.
