Description: This was an assigned still-life art piece I did as a way to show my skills in doing still like for the very first time. I used acrylic paint for this piece which was a little difficult to use. It took me at least two hours a day to get the right colors and paint them. I had to look closely at the details when I was sketching it out on the canvas. For my first still life painting, it was an experience that enjoyed, and discovered how much potential I have when it comes to painting, even when I dislike using acrylic paint. Doing this piece taught me the importance of shading and placement and how I viewed the still life. I used my drawing skills to my advantage and made sure my lines were clean and pigmented. It was fun doing this piece. It opened my art skills to a new level.
