Artist Statement: I choose this piece in light of this pandemic, within my art classes I am inspired to use our class for my students to travel an imaginary world of our makinig. This piece represents a trip to the future. There are a series of symbols that represent myself with my family traveling to a dream place in the future; also, the colors and shapes I chose represent people, my wife and my daughter. I create an open space for my audience to have the opportunity to take flight on this trip with me on this piece of art and be part of it by using their imagination connecting with themselves in person and spirit.
