Description: This oil painting on board, represents a pre-Covid memory. As the sun is setting, my team-mate is getting ready to rumble. The Chicago Park District organizes outdoor and indoor boxing competitions where the different park’s boxing clubs compete with each other and construct the traveling boxing rings in the various neighborhoods with lightning speed. I wanted to capture the moment filled with expectations, trepidation and the support of the team, friends and family folk who came to watch the match.
