Artist Statement: For my senior concentration, I’m taking the opportunity to build onto my characters and create a 15 page comic book preview for one of my comics, “Quantum Quasar”. I’m inspired by the captivating stories that I consume from different comics, shows, movies and games to create my own unique universe of characters. Creating characters and diving into their complex stories has been my artistic motivation since preschool. Since learning at ChiArts I have learned to become more conceptual in my arts practice and I’ve learned to convey my emotions through art.
