Artist Statement: Gun pointed to the head, blindfolded, mouth covered, a person has been captured. This is a traumatic experience which can lead to a person being who they are. These have the ability to wound a person emotionally and mentally, forever haunting them and dictating their every move. They live in fear of what can happen next, as if they’re blindfolded, living in silence, as if their mouth is covered. In all, living the event every day over and over again.
