Artist Statement: Pollution is a real thing, no matter how much we try to clean our earth or try to plant flowers or more trees it will never be enough to fix the damage we did to these creatures. Bees are dying and will soon be extinct.
In my artwork there’s a bee sleeping on a blue flower, in the back, there are factories that are polluting the air. The bees’ colors are very faded and not as bright as they should be, she’s dying.
The flower in my art represents life and change. Although the bee is dying, the flower keeps her alive, that flower is keeping her from falling down and giving up.
If these bees aren’t giving up on this polluted world why should we?
