Artist Statement:
This painting was created during remote learning due to COVID-19. It is meant to symbolize the “Joy” of traveling because I could not travel at the time I put the feelings I wanted to feel onto this canvas. Whenever I travel I always visit (and enjoy the water activities of) the sea and observe various flowers, so I put the two together, the flowers dancing in front of the sea.
