Artist Statement: I created this artwork using acrylic paint to represent an old telephone in an office that secretary would answer. This painting signifies how this system used to communicate has evolved over the years. This artwork is important to me because at one time females would be the ones who would answer the calls of the men in charge, so what’s unique about it is how female secretary roles have been altered.
