Artist Statement: This painting was inspired by a green heart necklace that I used to wear. The necklace is a green heart shaped diamond with a silver case around it. The heart is held by a copper chain, which I drew using a metallic marker. The background was made with watercolors and the necklace with acrylic paints. I decided to paint this in a school project based on important objects.
