Artist Statement: In my submitted portfolio, I added four pictures drawn by myself on the Autodesk Sketchbook application on my laptop. I drew a well known TikTok creator named Challan Trishann, as known as Challxn. On Instagram, I saw a beautiful closeup of her face. My first thought was ‘I have to draw her’. So first, I drew the picture on paper, then I transferred my paper drawing into sketchbook and colored it. I went for a semi-realistic style and once again I experimented with lighting and blending colors and loved the outcome. As I look back at the art I submit, I’m reminded on how much my art has improved and how far I’ve come. It shows me how flexible art can be and encourages me to explore new techniques and experiment with my style.
