Artist Statement: I created this piece to illustrate the late Ruth Bader Ginsburg as a catalyst for equality and justice within the United States Supreme Court. Behind her is a motif made using betta fish tails, reminiscent of hibiscus flowers that symbolize her beautiful nature as she fought for women’s rights.
