Artist Statement:
The title of my art is “50 Reasons Why”. I made this because I like drawing and wanted people to see my art so that I could be noticed maybe a little bit for once. But mostly because I just love drawing! To me the piece means that sometimes you have no choice and have to go with the flow (that is what the chain symbolizes. The arrows show how any choice she makes will lead back to this and the rest is just how she looks.). That is also the message I was trying to send to viewers. I named it “50 reasons why” because it is a shortened name. The original name was too long and it was “50 reasons why I have to go with the flow” but I changed it to just “50 reasons why”. I used IbisPaint which is a drawing software to make this.
