Artist Statement: This set was created from a collection of fabrics I have had in my home since childhood. Some of the pieces are from clothes I used to wear as a kid or even as a baby. I wanted this set to revolve around an idea that emphasizes the importance of connecting with materials ingrained in spaces that are familiar or even unfamiliar to us. I think especially in these times of isolation and disconnection, it is important to find beauty in the things we are surrounded with and the new ways we can interact with them.
