Artist Statement: The message of my artwork is to show people that, even when it’s dark sometimes you can always find something to light it up. The images that I used in my portrait were food, my water bottle, fruit, and more. When other people see my portrait they might think that l like fruit and things that have bright colors because I used mostly bright colors in my portrait. This is an important meaning to me because my portrait has all the stuff that was important and really close to me when the beginning of covid 19 happened.
