Walk and Run Cycles [Spring 2021]

Walk and Run Cycles are essential for any animator to know because of the number of times they will utilize them throughout their careers. In animation, a walk cycle and run cycle are a series of frames drawn in a sequence that loops to create an animation of a walking/running character. The cycle is looped over and over. With a walk/run cycle, you don’t have to animate every single step your character takes! It saves animators a lot of time!
