Altered Books, Black Out Poetry [Winter 2021]

Changing the written word. This project engages literacy into the curriculum as students explore black out poetry and white out poetry as some of the entries in their altered book. They also developed plans for utilizing the written word while creating visual expressions through the use of the text in the book. Students incorporated black out poetry altered books.
