Description: My Loteria card, La Inmigración, is based on my brother and niece experience with ICE. My brother was taken away when my niece was 2 years old and he had not seen her until recently when she went down to Mexico to visit him. I loved this piece, I took my time in making it and put much care into it. I like how I used my actual niece’s hand in it and we pretended the other hand was my brothers. This piece was created by using a drawing pencil, permanent marker and color pencils on cardstock paper.
