Artist Statement: Most of my work comes from inspiration and creative ideas formed with my imagination. I often include compelling storytelling and lore into my drawings while also engaging in character design and concept art. My collections are cinematic, relying on dynamic compositions and drawing out scenes.
Even though I explore various materials and mediums, my approach to the subject matter is objective. Before each body of work, I formulate a plan and or ideas through sketching, writing, and collaborating with other artists to craft a satisfying piece of art. I have found that using references of realism and stylistic conventions came the inspiration to create an appealing visual to the viewer. The projects altogether presented new challenges and new solutions to enrich my skills in art-making.
