For our Contemporary dance exhibit, we wanted to challenge our dancers in a multitude of ways. They were first tasked to learn and replicate Mr. Kirschbaum’s choreography, in addition to generating their own choreography and filming themselves improvising. Their choreographic task was to “spell their name” utilizing different body parts to “write” on different planes, and they improvised based on the idea of being “off-balance” or “falling over”. We hope you enjoy it!
