Artist Statement:
This art explores the profound and unspoken grief of the loss of sibilings.In Chinese and Japanese cultures, the number four means death. The Lilies represent purity and innocence. I used the color blue which shows the sadness I have. It is also connected with heaven.Other than my piece showing sadness. It also shows peace, using the colors blue and green. They are in a better place now and are watching over me.
