Artist Statement:
“Impressions of Me” represents things that I love.
I created the two pieces inside the frame during my Maker Space OST (Out of School Time) class. I used Vector Graphics to draw the picture of Robert Plant and sign my name for the first piece. For the second piece I used Vector Graphics to create the collection of a cat, airplane, football, guitar, drumsticks and a happy stick figure.
I created the frame at home using my wood burning kit. The waves represent my love of swimming and Lake Michigan. The piano keys are because I play piano and the musical notes are because I love playing and listening to music, especially classic rock. I also play trombone in the school band.
The name and year are me now.
