Artist Statement: In my drawings, I use pencils, pens, and sometimes paint. I focused on how my parent’s divorce and how it affected me and my younger brother. Due to the divorce, my brother and I have lived in 10 different homes. we have also learned money can come and go just as fast. I was inspired when I was asked to draw my home and realized I couldn’t draw a house because home for me is a sense of feeling. so each one of my pieces represents my sense of home.
