Artist Statement: I took a photo of my sibling’s eye in the light and decided to use emphasis in the pupil to make it stand out a little more in the black and white tones. The black and white artwork is being put together with other black and white facial features to make an abstract face. This is following a dramatic color theme, hence the purple artwork submitted. Prismacolor colored pencils and a white gel pen were used in the process.
