Artist Statement: This piece represents a situation I find myself in when playing one of my favorite video games,”Team Fortress 2″. There are 9 different characters to choose from and you get to customize them to your liking. A lot of the time when playing, you encounter the opposite team going against you. This leaves you and your team in a standoff and a sort of matchup where you have to use your skills against their own in order to win the battle. I picked up this game after years of not playing since middle school and it has brought back much nostalgia from many years ago. This piece is sort of a representation of my childhood and how thought provoking a video game can make you think.
