Artist Statement: I created eARTh during an Early College Program at the Art Institute of Chicago over this past summer. I used a graffiti inspired font to paint a list of words containing the word art over an abstract background. I was inspired after stumbling across this list during my research on text art, and I tried to illustrate the idea that looking at the world through the lens of an artist makes it possible to find art in anything.
