Artist Statement: I created an artwork that addresses Vitiligo. I wanted to bring awareness about Vitiligo because many people who have it are often insecure about their skin color being two different tones. In this photograph, my little brother is posing with paper sculptures that I made which represent Vitiligo. Moreover, the black and white represent emotional and dark sadness.
