Artist Statement:
“Old Folk” is a digital collage inspired by the shared dream my best friend and I have of growing old together, and the hope that we’ll both make it to a time in the far-off future when we can simply sit and take in the view together. I chose digital collage as my medium to highlight the patchwork of images, as my dream is also in a sense a patchwork of various hopes that, together, form this shared dream of a peaceful future.
